An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join a growing Accountancy Firm local to Gerrards Cross. This particular vacancy is a Payroll Assistant, to join a busy payroll department. In return a competitive salary, flexible working hours and other benefits package is offered.
In this position, you will be responsible for processing various clients payrolls for smaller companies to larges company schemes.
A good understanding of practice payroll environment, cloud accounting, CIS and speaking with client is required.
Handling a portfolio of payroll clients
Calculating pro rated payments, holiday entitlement, Maternity, Paternity and auto enrolment.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Management of own workflow within scheduled time
Keeping up to date technically
Liaising with clients to resolve any issues
Prior experience in Public Practice
Experience with accounting software such as Sage Payroll, Iris and Microsoft Office applications
Experience of CIS
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Detail orientated and organised
