At AJ Chambers, we are always eager to welcome new members of staff joining our ever-growing Chambers team. Over this week we have welcomed 4 new members of staff, 3 of which being University Graduates, making this our biggest intake of staff to date. All 4 candidates are mandatory in our companies development in 2019, with each individual playing a key role in aiding our Directors’ goals for the New Year.

The AJ Chambers East England Division are delighted to welcome Caitlan Warne to the team. Caitlan joins as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant having recently graduated with a Masters Degree in History at the Nottingham Trent University. Darren Buckley, Director of AJ Chambers had these words to say: -

“Caitlan is an intelligent, hardworking individual and we have very ambitious, yet highly achievable plans to fast track Caitlan into a full 360 Recruitment Consultant role. We believe we can offer Caitlan a solid grounding in Recruitment which will put her a great position to not only continue AJ Chambers foothold as the number one Public Practice Recruitment Consultancy in the East of England, but also to further her career in a company that has no limitations. In addition to being a good commercial asset to AJ Chambers, we believe that Caitlan has the right attitude and willingness to develop, and we are confident that she will be able to forge a successful, long term career with AJ Chambers.”

Caitlan, with little experience of recruitment consultancy, claimed that ‘My week has been eye opening in to the world of recruitment and the work that goes on with it’. It is often found that there is a negative stigma that surrounds recruitment, at AJ Chambers we like to believe that we take a unique approach to recruitment that is centred around our exceptional knowledge of the market which is what sets us apart from other recruitment firms.

The Corporate Finance Team are pleased in Ryan Lockwood joining the team, and kickstart the development of their sector ahead of the New Year. Ryan has recently completed a Degree in Business Administration and is joining the company as Junior Recruitment Consultant. James Done, Director at AJ Chambers, expressed : -

“Very excited to welcome Ryan Lockwood to the Corporate Finance team – 2019 will be a huge year for us that will see significant investment both in talented new hires like Ryan who will be instrumental in maintaining our growth and market reach. Ryan joins at an exciting time and will be focusing both on delivering mandates with current clients and also expanding our footprint in the Home Counties, particularly Thames Valley.”

Ryan seems to have settled in to the Corporate Finance Team seamlessly, already understanding the values that our company practices, as he says “First week has been really good, this is my first job since graduating in the summer, AJ Chambers is a great working environment and everyone is more than happy to answer any questions I have had throughout my first week and have made me feel very comfortable.
Future plans would be to continue learning about the world of Corporate Finance and the other areas that AJ Chambers operates in and the role we play as recruiters in this process and also to aid in the expansion of the Corporate Finance team and AJ Chambers as a whole.”

The Tax Division also bolstered the ranks with the arrival of Bridget O’Brien, who has joined the team in anticipation of the New Year and end of the 4th Quarter. We are currently expanding the Tax division in recruitment, so Bridget will play a part in the future of the team, as envisioned by Matthew Lawford who discloses: -

“The Tax team are very pleased to welcome Bridget to the business after recently completing her Masters Degree. With the further expansion of the Tax recruitment division we have no doubt Bridget will make a really positive impact.”

Bridget is adjusting to life in the recruitment consultancy world and has taken to it in good stead, she comments “My first week has been a great introduction to both the world of recruitment and the world of tax! Looking forward to going through the whole recruitment process now and improving my knowledge on the area further!”

The Home Counties Division welcomes Jessica Hawes to their expanding team, as she completes a Business Administration apprenticeship alongside her role of candidate researcher. At AJ Chambers we encourage career development within our own workforce as well as our candidates, and our entirely supportive of our staff expanding their industry knowledge to aid them in progression within the company and future business ventures. Jason Reynolds, Director at AJ Chambers, expresses his enthusiasm for Jessica joining the team:-

“Jessica Hawes joins our growing Home Counties Division as a specialist candidate researcher. She will specialise in speaking with individuals throughout the UK and connecting them with our team of consultants.”

Jessica reflects on her first week stating, “I have really enjoyed my first week, I was so nervous before I started as I though it would take me a while to get used to it and learn everything but I am slowly getting into it. My team has been really supportive and the work environment is so friendly, I already feel like I’m really starting to fit in with the company”.

We here at AJ Chambers wish the best of luck to Bridget, Caitlan, Ryan and Jess and hope they continue to excel within our company!
